Dritto

The Lovers is a card of alignment before it is a card of romance: two things — people, paths, versions of you — either fit or they do not, and pretending otherwise is the only real betrayal. Choose what matches your values, and say the choice out loud. Love that cannot be named is hard to keep.

Rovesciato

Reversed, the misalignment has a name now. Either values drifted, or a choice is being deferred so long it's making the decision by itself. Name the tension honestly — with the other person, or with yourself — and re-choose on purpose. Drift is a decision too, just a worse one.

Letture in combinazione

• Justice — Lovers + Justice: alignment under weighing — the fair choice and the true choice turn out to be the same one.
