À l'endroit

The scales do not care whose feelings are involved. Justice asks for the honest ledger: what was done, what it cost, what is owed. If you have been avoiding a clear-eyed look at a situation, this card is the nudge. Facts first, feelings second, decision last — in that order it becomes simple.

À l'envers

Reversed, the scales are rigged — by bias, by excuse, by a story you keep retelling in your favor. Or someone owes you and pretends the account is settled. Re-audit honestly, including your own column. Unbalanced books only get heavier.
